How to print from a laptop that is not connected to the printer?

Let us assume you have two or three computers connected to the same router. Only one of the computers is conneted to a printer and you want make use of the same printer from the other two computers. Is it possible? Yes it is . How to do it?
Find out the name of the computer to which the printer is connected. You can find out the name of the computer by right clicking on the computer icon and then clicking on the properties. You will see the Computer name tab. Click on it. It will show you the name given to the computer. Note it
In the computer connected to the printer from start-control panel-Network connections-Here you will see wireless network icon. Right click on it.Click on properties. Find out if the file and printer sharing for Microsoft networks is checked. If it is not install that option. You may need to insert the CD rom.
In the same computer from start-control panel-click on printers and faxes. Choose the Printer that you want other computers to share. Right click on that printer icon. Click on properties . Click on sharing tab. Select share this printer. Enter the name for the printer.
Now turn on the computer that you want to print from
Start-control panel-printers and faxes-click on file-add printer-press next-check connect to the network printer. In the name enter 2 backward slashed computer name one backward slash\the printer name. Press next. Now it will caution you saying that you are about to install the drivers from another computer. After a while it will say that installation is successful and it will ask you whether you want this to be your default printer. Press ok. Now you can type anything from the laptop and it will be printed. From now on you can print anything from your laptop using the printer attached to one of the other computers.
