Portable MP3 palyer

How to make it play in all computers?

I have XM Mp3 player software in my
flash drive. I operate it to play
music files. I put the Mp3 files in the same
folder that the exe files resides in

Or create a subfolder called Songs
and in that I create more subfolders
with different genre of music files
in them.

This way I can take it from one
computer to another and it
will play OK.

Just don't create Songs folder at
one level up. Then it will have
difficult time locating different
drives.

Hope this info helps

Helpful tidbits for Digital Photography

  1. Don't include too many people. You will have to go too far to fit all of them in
  2. Use zoom or telephoto and make the size of the subject decent
  3. Make sure that the heads of the people in the back are seen
  4. Try to turn them to the side (half to one side and the other to the other)
  5. Have more room above the head (Why?)
  6. 11% of the height will be lost by converting from 1.33 to 1.5 ratio
  7. Indoor use 200 or 400 ISO and or Use 1 + or 2+ flash
  8. If the subject is too close don't use too much flash or ISO. it may bleach out
  9. Have the couple pose closely. Make sure the heads are upright and not skewed)
  10. Take at least 2-3 shots (in case some one closes)
  11. Try to review pictures to make sure they are ok
  12. Review pictures and make sure everyone has been taken
  13. Make sure the shoulders and arms are included
  14. Always use flash in FIF (fill in flash) mode. It will remove shadow in the face
  15. Don't use too bright sunlight . if it its too bright cut back on iso to 50
  16. Watch out for reflecting surfaces like glossy paint, glass, metal'
  17. For children use sports mode
  18. Support the base of the camera to minimize shake
  19. Try to shoot mostly landscape pictures than in letter mode
  20. The maximum size of video in most of the cameras is 1 GB (8 minutes)
  21. 2 GB memory card can hold 16 minutes of 640 video and 32 minutes of 320*240 at 30fps
  22. 4 GB SD cards can't be used in older cameras
  23. Mplayer by martin fiedler can play most of the videos filmed with digital cameras
  24. In bright sunlight when you can't see LCD screen, use optical viewfinder to view the subject

Publishing video at YouTube site

YouTube allows you to upload a video That is less than 100 meg in size or less than

10 minutes in length.

I generally make a movie with my canon still camera using the video setting

I guess you can film a movie with most of the digital still cameras using movie mode

I film it in 640*320 and then convert it to 320 *240 format

I use Magix CD DVD maker program to bring in multiple segments of video

(You can find this program on sale for about $25.

I then add title, overlays and music

Finally I export the production as a quicktime mov file

To reduce the size of the file I use mono option. you can also save video

with 25 FPS than 29.7 to reduce the size of the file

Hope this info helps

My first posting in English

Though I have been urging people to write in Tamil , I find it hard
to quickly type something that comes to mind and post it.
So I have decided to blog in English than in Tamil.
This way I think I can blog more often
I plan to write mostly social issues and use of free software
and random topics
Let us see how it works out
